About the Zane Beadles Parade Foundation
The Zane Beadles Parade Foundation supports the journey of young people going through life-changing medical experiences. Founded in 2013 by former Denver Bronco now San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Zane Beadles. The Zane Beadles Parade Foundation (ZBPF) is a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization that supports the journey of young people going through life-changing medical experiences.
While playing for the Utah Utes, Zane met Rykar a 7-year old boy diagnosed with a brain tumor who dreamed of becoming a football player. The team adopted him into the Utes family, invited him onto the field and into the locker room during the football season. Unfortunately, Ryker’s dream never came to be. On February, 24, 2007, he lost his battle with cancer. The impact Ryker had on Zane as well as his family history with cancer, inspired Zane to take action.
In the first 3 years of the Foundation’s existence, ZBPF has provided more than 2,500 Greatest Gift Programs and brought a sense of normalcy and happiness to more than 5,000 families. Creating fun, memorable experiences for patients during their treatments has been provide to significantly improve their quality of life and overall recovery. Through our program, we hope to relieve the stress often experienced during treatment and contribute to the patient’s well being. We believe it is the greatest gift we can give them.
